Text messages

Last updated October 28, 2026

Universe Courier can deliver its messages by text (SMS). Texts are optional: they go only to account holders who separately agree to receive them and confirm their number. This page explains the program. The same terms are in the Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy.

How to sign up

Texts are optional. You don't need a phone number to create an account or use Universe Courier, and agreeing to the Terms & Conditions does not sign you up for texts. Messages can come by push notification instead. Texts start only if you check the separate text-message consent box and confirm your number.

  1. Create a Universe Courier account using your invitation. The sign-up form asks only for your name, email address, and a password. It has no phone number field and no text-message consent.
  2. Choose how messages reach you in your delivery settings. Push notifications need no phone number. To get texts, enter your mobile number and check the text-message consent box, which is never checked for you. To skip texts, leave the box unchecked or choose Skip texts. Your account works the same either way.
  3. If you chose texts, Universe Courier texts a 6-digit code to that number. Texts start only after you enter the code.
  4. You get a confirmation text, and messages then arrive at random. You can turn texts off in settings, or reply STOP, at any time.

The account area is invitation-only, so these previews show the sign-up flow exactly as it appears there. Screenshot of the sign-up flow.
